7. Kheti Virasat established four centers in Punjab ( Fazilka, Ferozepur, Tanda, Anandpur Sahib) for non formal primary training about organic farming.These centers are voluntary run by the members of Kheti Virasat without any financial support from outside. 8. Kheti Virasat undertook a pivot survey " Ecology Fact Sheet Punjab|" in about 200 villages of Punjab for compiling the data and facts about depletion anddestruction of ecology, bio-diversity and natural resources. 9. Working group on ecology:- This working group is actively involved in conservation and awareness generation about water, natural resources and biodiversity. This working group has successfully organised a one day strategy meeting to discuss the ecological implications of Green Revolution on 8th of December 2002 at Chandigarh . Eminent hydrologists Dr.R.N. Athawle, famous environmentalists Shri Anupam Mishra, Former water resource advisor to world bank Dr. Sudhirendra Sharma, Former waterexpert with UNDP, Shri Ranjan Samantray , Dr. Karanjot Kaur Brar( P.U.Chandigarh); Dr. G.S.Dhaliwal, Dr.B.D. Kansal, Dr. H.S. Hira( All from PAU, Ludhiana) , Dr. S.S. Grewal (Director, Kandi Research Station) had participated in the meeting. Several other experts, Government officials, agriculturists, environmentalists and eco activists from Punjab and Haryana were also present in the meeting Dr. RN Athawale, an eminent hydrologists and distinguished water experts Shri Anupam Mishra visited the some villages of Ropar district on the request of Kheti Virasat.
